BioCoat Bioactive Resin Pit & Fissure Sealant is the only bioactive resin pit and fissure sealant to deliver daily reminerlization of the tooth surface for long-term bioactive protection. It features SmartCap™ Technology that provides exceptiona protection, adhesion and extended fluoride release.
This technology, developed in partnership with Creighton University, utilizes patented semi-permeable resin microcapsules that are filled with ionic solutions of fluoride, calcium, and phosphate, which diffuse in and out of the sealant and continue to release at a significant rate six months post sealant placement.
A new and impoved formula introudced in spring of 2021 includes the added benefits of superior handling and a new opaque shade with fluorescence to help ensure sealant integrity.
